Congratulations to team Mexico for becoming the WCS 2018 Grand Champion.
This year’s format of the WCS was changed up a little bit… instead of having Group ‘knockout’ stages on Saturday and the Top 10-12 teams compete for the finals, this year the whole thing was put on one stage and winner takes all!
So my plan for Saturday was to spend most of the afternoon making my way through the crowds and take random photos of the various cosplayers who all flocked to Oasis 21 to show off their costumes and characters.
My idea here was to take fewer photos but more focused on expressions, mood & quality using the Visico 5TTL strobes, which worked out perfectly… both Friday and Saturday I shot into the twilight and evening hours which was quite different from the past several years.
