D1 Grand Prix Pro Series Drifting, the who’s who of drift. The regular Rounds, the best 16 tsuiso (twin run) round battles, which involves two cars drifting simultaneously.
The drivers are judged with an assistance of a DriftBox, which determines angle, keeping to the correct racing line and speed. That will be given a score up to a maximum of 100.0, should a driver score that point, he will be given a bonus score of 1 point which will be added to his score they accumulate during the tsuiou round.
The Championship Series, 18 drivers are selected from a pool of champions from past series and/or rounds. Drivers also had to make it into the top 16 at the end of the final Round of the D1GP Series. 2 wild card entries are also selected by the D1 panel, thus bringing the list to 18.
