The Tokyo Auto Salon is a three day event held Friday – Sunday. The morning of the first day is open to industry insiders only. After that the show is open to the general public.
The Tokyo Auto Salon is focused on technologies, parts and customizations. The auto aftermarket is also a large industry in Japan. Around 300 companies take part. These include parts manufacturers, technology companies, customization specialists, auto associations and schools. In total around 800 cars are on display each year. Close to 300,000 people attend.
TOKYO AUTO SALON has a wide variety of dedicated exhibitors to
–showcase and demonstrate their latest technological solutions and products for cars to be tuned-up and dressed-up
–showcase and sell cars with dress-up parts and accessories
–showcase and sell cars highlighting innovative tuning technologies
–showcase and sell auto-related video games, aftermarket parts, motorsport merchandise and other diverse auto-related products
–showcase and sell complete tuned-up cars and commercial vehicles.

The “NBA Japan Games 2019 Presented by Rakuten”, which will be held in October this year, will be the 15th and 16th games in Japan.
Houston Rockets has come to Japan for the 1992-93 season opener, which was held in 1992, and has played two games at the “Yokohama Arena”. The team includes James Harden, who has won the MVP in the 2017-18 season, Chris Paul, who has been selected nine times for the NBA All-Star Game, and Eric Gordon, who has won the 2017 NBA Six Man Award.
