WATERBOMB JAPAN 2023 was held at the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture for two days on July 29th and 30th of 2023 under the scorching sun, and realized a new way to fuse water and music. This large-scale music festival took place for the first time in Japan, following the successful South Korean version which has been held since 2015. At the venue, participants held water guns that they could bring with them and had a fun water shooting battle with their friends, filling the venue with smiles and cheers. People enjoying fashion in their own unique style gathered at the festival surrounded by fascinating music and enjoyed a wide variety of content.

The artists, a mix of Korean singers and DJs as well as top international artists, captivated the audience with their unique sounds and performances. The vibrant lights, beats, and water all came together to transport the entire venue to a fantastical world. In front of the enthusiastic audience, the artists sprayed water from the stage in time with the music, creating a performance that created a sense of unity. This production created a synergistic effect of music and water that spread throughout the venue, and participants shared the emotional experience of music and water.
