A new era complex event “NEW ENERGY” curated by Blue Marble(*) that includes exhibitions, markets, and media will start. “NEW ENERGY ZERO” will be held for the first time at Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Square for three days, February 17th (Thursday), 18th (Friday), and 19th (Saturday), 2022. What is created from this is new energy centered on creation.
NEW ENERGY is an alternative place that does not fit into the existing format of joint exhibitions and market events. I think that the first memorable event will be a place where you can feel the energy of life and a place like a “festival” to celebrate the encounter. What is the transmission method that is in line with the times when creation brings richness that cannot be quantified? We would like to create this place with real and online, transnational artists and creative lovers. Not everything is newer than it used to be. While incorporating the scheme cultivated in rooms, I would like to disseminate according to the times.
Blue Marble ｜ Organizer
The Blue Marble, one of the most widespread photographs in the world, was taken from space by the crew of Apollo 17 in 1972. The earth seen from space is like a glass marble. Beautiful marbles, whose scenery changes depending on the viewing angle when held over the light, are in the hands of us living on the earth. We want to connect our important places to the future with a nicer shape. With that in mind, I launched a project called Blue Marble.
